Day Itinerary
Hotel Pickup — Las Vegas Strip
Your private air-conditioned van picks you up from your Las Vegas Strip or Fremont area hotel. Your guide gives an overview of the five destinations ahead as you leave the city.
Red Rock Canyon — Calico I & High Point
Your first stop is Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. Visit Calico I (20 min) — one of the canyon's most beautiful and photogenic red sandstone formations — then continue to High Point (20 min), the highest viewpoint on the route with a privileged panoramic view of the entire park. Snacks and water are provided here.
Seven Magic Mountains
Stop at Seven Magic Mountains — the world-famous contemporary art installation by Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone. Seven stacks of neon-painted boulders, each 30–35 feet tall, rise dramatically from the desert floor. The vibrant colors contrast beautifully with the natural desert landscape and make for unforgettable photos.
Nelson Ghost Town — El Dorado Canyon
Step back in time at Nelson's El Dorado Canyon — an authentic Wild West mining town about 45 minutes from Las Vegas. Explore the historic Techatticup Mine area, vintage buildings, rusted vehicles, and relics from the 1800s mining era. A photographer's dream and a true piece of American frontier history.
Boulder City — Hoover Dam Museum & Lunch
Enjoy a relaxed stop in charming Boulder City, the town built to house Hoover Dam workers in the 1930s. Visit the Hoover Dam Museum and explore the streets — lunch is available for purchase at local restaurants before continuing to the dam.
Hoover Dam & Lake Mead Overlook
Walk across one of the world's greatest engineering marvels — Hoover Dam — and take in panoramic views of the Colorado River canyon below. End with a stop at the Lake Mead scenic roadside overlook for sweeping views of one of the largest man-made reservoirs in the United States.
