Day Itinerary
Hotel Pickup — Las Vegas Strip
Your air-conditioned vehicle picks you up directly from your hotel on the Las Vegas Strip or nearby streets. Your driver/guide gives an overview of the five destinations ahead as you leave the city.
Red Rock Canyon — Calico I & High Point
Your first stop is Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. Visit Calico I (20 min) — one of the canyon's most beautiful and photogenic red rock formations — then continue to High Point (20 min), the highest viewpoint on the route, offering a privileged panoramic view of the entire park. Snacks and water are provided here.
Seven Magic Mountains
Stop at Seven Magic Mountains (25 min) — a world-famous contemporary art installation by Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone, located just outside Las Vegas. Seven stacks of brightly painted boulders, each 30–35 feet tall, rise from the desert floor in striking contrast to the natural landscape. Originally planned for two years, the display has been extended due to its overwhelming popularity.
Nelson Ghost Town — El Dorado Canyon
Travel to Nelson's El Dorado Canyon (45 min), located about 45 minutes from Las Vegas. Explore the Techatticup Mine — one of the oldest, most productive, and most fought-over gold and silver mines in Nevada — along with vintage buildings, old vehicles, and Wild West relics. A photographer's dream and a step back in time.
Boulder City — Historic Museum & Lunch
Spend 45 minutes in charming Boulder City, the town built to house Hoover Dam workers in the 1930s. Visit the historic museum and explore the streets. Lunch is available for purchase at local restaurants (not included in tour price).
Hoover Dam
Spend 60 minutes at one of the largest concrete structures in the world. Walk along the top of Hoover Dam, take in the dramatic views of the canyon and the Colorado River below, and admire Lake Mead — one of the largest man-made lakes in the United States.
Lake Mead Overlook
A final 15-minute scenic stop at the Lake Mead Overlook — a roadside viewpoint near Hoover Dam with panoramic views of the reservoir and surrounding desert. Easy access with no hiking required — perfect for a final round of photos.
Return to Las Vegas
Board your vehicle for the comfortable return to your Las Vegas hotel, arriving back after a packed day of art, history, nature, and engineering wonders.
