Your guide leads you through the glowing Beehives, Atlatl Rock, Rainbow Vista, Fire Canyon, and Elephant Rock before finishing at the Lost City Museum, home to one of the Southwest's finest collections of early Puebloan artifacts. Your hotel is your pickup point, water and snacks are included.

Day Itinerary

1

Hotel Pickup — Las Vegas

Your air-conditioned van picks you up from your Las Vegas hotel. With 200+ pickup locations across the Las Vegas Strip and Fremont Street, your adventure starts right at your door. Your guide introduces you to the natural and cultural history of Valley of Fire on the short drive out of the city.

2

The Beehives

Your first stop inside Valley of Fire State Park: the Beehives — distinctive rounded sandstone formations shaped by millions of years of wind and water erosion. The contrast of fiery red rock against the desert sky makes this one of the park's most photographed spots.

3

Atlatl Rock — Ancient Petroglyphs

Climb the staircase to Atlatl Rock and come face to face with petroglyphs carved into the sandstone by the ancient Basketmaker people thousands of years ago. Your guide shares the cultural and historical significance of these remarkable rock carvings.

4

Rainbow Vista & Fire Canyon

Make your way to Rainbow Vista for a sweeping panoramic view of the park's most colorful landscape — layers of red, orange, pink, and white sandstone stretching into the horizon. Continue to Fire Canyon for dramatic views of the towering canyon walls.

5

The Cabins & Elephant Rock

Visit The Cabins — stone shelters built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s — and then Elephant Rock, a naturally sculpted sandstone formation that bears an uncanny resemblance to an elephant. A favorite photo stop for visitors.

6

Lost City Museum

End your park tour with a visit to the Lost City Museum, featuring one of the Southwest's most impressive collections of early Puebloan artifacts. From ancient tools and pottery to architectural reconstructions, the museum tells the story of the Desert Culture from over 10,000 years ago.

7
